Every Autumn we host our annual game fishing tournament in Russell.

Last entries are accepted on briefing night (19th March), with the competition limited to 25 teams.
Each team must have at least 1 current or ex fire brigade member. This can be from any brigade, NZ or worldwide.

About the Tournament
The Fire Brigade has been running our fishing tournament as long as we can remember. It is an essential date on the Gamefish calendar, and has a huge affect on our ability to operate & upkeep our small community fire station.
We have some fantastic prizes on offer each year, as well as the pride of the catch. And of supporting your community.
