Our Role in the Community
The Russell Volunteer Fire Brigade plays a crucial role in providing essential emergency services to the local community. We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents & visitors. Our dedicated team of volunteers respond at any time of the day or night as their way of giving back to the community.
Information About the Station
Located in Russell, New Zealand, the Russell Volunteer Fire Brigade has been serving our community for decades.
We are equipped with 2 appliances. A Rescue Tender & Tanker, which allows us to respond to a vast array of emergencies as well as back-up other nearby brigades.
We have also added our own van 'Clifford' to help with community work, as well as having a stunning vintage 1953 Ford V8 Fire Truck on site.
